It's an issue with early models that have 20" wheels. I don't believe the issue was hidden. Many early reviews mentioned it. Swapping to 19" wheels would fix the problem.

Try turning the volume up in the Music app on your iPhone (while the music is playing via Bluetooth obviously). That worked for me when I had the same problem. Turns out the iPhone has separate volume controls to the car.

Thread bump. My delivery date has moved forward from May 18th to the second week of April! Seems like the production ramp effect is actually having an effect on orders. One month less to wait has seriously made my week.

I was quoted 22 weeks when I ordered mine Jan 5th. Do you think I should expect it sooner?

I wish they'd put them up online for me to browse. It seems none of the BMW showrooms around the UK have an i section for approved used cars, even though many have them for sale on the forecourt. In the meantime I've got one on order due around May, but I'd definitely be tempted to cancel it...

I placed my order on Monday 5th Jan, and the salesman estimated late May or June for delivery. Apparently that's standard for all i3 vehicles in the UK. Will be interesting to see if I hear back from him or BMW sooner! Went for an Ionic silver REX with Lodge interior, BMW Professional Media...
