New owner- need level 2 evse suggestions

I suppose for all the hobbyists out there that want to mess around with 220v A/C power wielding a soldering iron, running the risk of a fire, potential local electrical code violations and damage to who knows what, building you own EVSE might seem like an attractive option. Or, you can spend a...

Software update - unable to set low-cost charging

Yep, I understand the various issues associated with OTA software updates but I appreciate your deeper knowledge of the topic. The most pressing problem at this time however, and the reason for my initial reply to this thread, was to find out if anyone else had experienced the delay charging...

    Some pre-purchase questions

For what it's worth, after 3 years on the 20" wheels, 19"ers on the new BEV we just picked up provide a less harsh ride, given the i3's short wheel base and bouncy ride on fwys I think they are a better option. Re the sun roof, the single piece of glass slides outside the roof and the two...

Help: CA HOV Decals - do I need the license plate first?

As other have already posted, you need your plate number first. However......because of the time it was taking to get the white stickers, my wife was commuting daily in the HOV lane by herself without them. So far she has been passed by 4 officers of the law without being pulled over or even a...
