THIS CAR SUCKS! - HAD IT 10 MONTHS, JUST GOT 42 MILES!

Tire pressure is front 33 psi and rear 41 psi. match factory recommendation on 20". I am in Southern California, so weather is not an issue. I have checked my i3 hidden menu, there is no SOC 13.09 on the menu, maybe my software is not the most update; however, according to previous post: 13.08...

THIS CAR SUCKS! - HAD IT 10 MONTHS, JUST GOT 42 MILES!

I have same issue, mine never go over 65 miles range for a full charge since new. Regardless which mode I select, ECO PRO, or ECO PRO+, it will only added few miles (less than 5 miles) to the poor range. My other Spark EV does not have this issue, about same EPA 82-83 miles range as i3, with...

    Speaker alternative

I only found 2 speakers for the Mega (base model) located on each side of door panel, no speakers in the back seat area. Are these the only 2 speakers for the Mega trim? thanks

Does anyone else feel let down about their BMW i3 BEV

Welcome to the BMW i3 Forum

Hi Everyone, just leased a 2014 i3 BEV last week in Southern California. The i3 is our 2nd EV, and our first one is Spark EV.

Conflicted - Price SO good that I should just buy instead?

That's what I thought when I leased my first EV back in 2013, now is 2015, there is no sign of "affordable" 200 miles EV.

    Would you buy it again?

Yes, definitely, and the BMW i3 is our second EV. We got our first EV back in 2013 and enjoy it very much.
