    Rear bike rack

Wonderful! This is just what I need to talk myself into getting an i3!

A Trip to the Grocery — Worst Range Yet

Interesting article from last year about impact of cold on EV's: http://www.plugincars.com/electric-car-drivers-report-cold-weather-impact-129218.html

    Rear bike rack

Bikes go very well with EV's. Does BMW or anyone offer a rear mounted bike rack option? I use a very nice factory rear platform bike rack with my Mini Cooper Countryman that bolts to the rear tow eye fittings.

BMW, Volkswagen and ChargePoint Announce Initiative...

The I5 corridor from I80/SF-Sacramento CA area to Ashland, OR (about 300 miles) has only two Tesla Supercharger locations currently; NO other fast chargers of any kind, according to Plugshare. Ashland/Medford has CHAdeMO. I hope this initiative improves the situation.

Taking Control of your Range Extender - Mike Mas

I just want to point out that the VIN is viewable outside a vehicle (under windshield glass usually) by anyone walking by, so it is not designed to be secure.

Reverse engineering the i3 @ Munro

This is an interesting discussion. I am researching EV's for a future purchase but I have yet to drive either the i3 or e-Golf. I would like to be able to control regen so that I can make the car coast with zero regen when I want. The shifter regen control on the e-Golf does sound attractive...

    Drifting the i3

Why - probably because it is fun and develops car-control skills. This kind of practice in a big parking lot in the snow is relatively safe and could help you in emergency situations in the future. Looks like Austria has good snow this year! Interestingly, one of our current cars, a Mini...

    No anti-theft lock on steering?

FYI neither our 2012 Mini or our 2013 Ford C-Max Energi (PHEV) have steering wheel locks. Both have push-button starting; the Mini requires the 'key' to be inserted in a slot, while the Energi has a remote key fob.

    Sport suspension and seats

Interesting review; I wish the author had let the driver give her own professional description of the i3's handling. Add to my suggestion - allow the driver to turn off stability control via the computer screen or a button.

    Sport suspension and seats

I hope to test one when they arrive in my area (CA, US) sometime in 2014. My post is based on reading reviews at this point.

    Sport suspension and seats

Like almost every other BMW has as an option, I would find the i3 more appealing with properly bolstered sport seats and suspension for relatively neutral and entertaining handling. Perhaps more sporting tires as an option also.
