Thanks for the info! My contractor (who was here for other things) looked at it yesterday and said some wires were loose and tightened them, but the problem persists. My extension cord is 14g I think. My house is old, and not everything is as it should be, we will get a GFCI box in.

My husbands i3 just stopped charging in its usual outlet in the garage last night. The outlet still gets power, but when we plug the charging unit in, "power fault" lights up solid red. We thought something was wrong with the charging unit itself, but after messing around with it for a while...
