I think some people haver reported this to happen when the car has been driven in wet conditions, and once it dries out somewhat, the error goes away.

I could be wrong, but I thought the battery is only actively cooled when it's been charged, and only then if needed, ie., gets above a set temperature threshold, it's NOT cooled when your driving the car.

I live in Canada and I got mine at my local dealer for about $150, I haven't checked any East Penn dealers, it's just that I read on the facebook group that people are reporting large price increases for this battery.

The closer you can keep the battery at 50% when not in use, the better it is for it in the long run, it's the way Li-ion batteries are.

Mine did that as well until I realized you need the thick rubber gasket that goes into the cap so it seals between the cap and fluid reservoir.
