I live in Sweden.(240 volt) The fast charger is not std, but I wonder if the car can take 16 amp without that option?

Dear i3 friends Im thinking about order the Bosch Power max wallbox as my homecharger... Is it possible to use the 16 amp version on an i3 without having the fast charger option on the car? ( is the amp to high?)
