Is it possible to code the BMW i3 so that every press of the lock button on the keyfob produces a beep and/or flashes the lights? By default, the BMW i3 beeps and flashes its exterior lights on the first press to lock the car. Subsequent presses only light up the interior with the blue dome light.

I was able to tap into the wiring harness in the rear-view mirror shroud for switched +12V and GND. Enlarged one of the vent holes at the bottom of the shroud to bring out the USB cable. No need to route the cable all the way to the fuse box!

Finally got the car back from the dealership today after 3 days in the shop! Just past the 5-day return period. They were able to replace the heated seat mat, seatback fabric, and door trim under warranty. The heated seat works perfectly now. :D They would not repair a small cut in the trunk...
