    Insurance warranty for the battery part only on a 2014 i3

    Under emmissiins laws for everyone in CA, CT, ME, MD, MA, NJ ,NY,RI and VT....I'm guessing we have 10yrs and 150k mi. (Per the owners manual). Not sure about AZ...if the car started its life in one of these states you may be able to argue a claim or maybe see if you can get warranty work done...

    Just got my battery replaced under warranty and the service advisor showed me the parts list for the warranty claim and it came out to over $30k. If you’re in CA or other states that comply with CA rules, the battery is warranted for 10yrs/150k mi. See owners manual for details.
