I leased a 2021 last September and charge in the garage to 100%. I retired early so don’t drive a lot but love knowing I always have a “full tank”. I haven’t seen any degradation. I live in south Jersey and had a 199 mile range when I went out to the car earlier this week!

As someone who’s had a new i3 BEV for just under a month, the only thing to be careful of are “side trips”. Not an issue for me but the wife is always thinking and will remember we need to stop here, then there, then backtrack a little.

That’s a good question. The answer is yes the car was unlocked because as soon as the tech swiped his card the lock was off. However, yes… I’d forgotten about that feature of locking the car locks the charger…thank you.

Thank you Nate. When I was doing the one and only charge I thought why not sit in the car with the AC on and familiarize myself more with the iDrive system, etc. while the system is charging. Didn’t seem I could do that but I was frazzled anyway from previous stops where the charger didn’t work.
