We bought our first black i3 with 20k miles, and have enjoyed the simplicity of not gassing up regularly. Then we took a few road trips, which require the REX and frequent gas stops, but that fits our style just fine. When my mom stopped driving, and we decided two cars were needed, we picked up a second i3, our Panda.
