Traffic Jam Assist in the USA

I am already in my state's waiting list but read somewhere that the Traffic Jam assist option will not be available here.

True - no TJA in the US. It was also initially promised to be on the new X5 and then subsequently pulled from the US version of that. The speculation in the X5 forum is that BMW is scared of the potential legal liability issues in our litigious country.
