Fyi, i3 and active-e badges came off no problem just used some fishing line and adhesive remover. Very happy with the results.

It makes any car look "cleaner" IMHO, don't really care what anyone thinks it is or isn't. Just an aesthetic thing for me.

There is a video of this happening with the Clipper Creek on the facebook page and many comments that other people are having the same problem with other chargers. I am wondering if this is happening to people who have had the KLE replaced already as I know there are some of you out there!

I am probably going for the 3M stuff but does anyone know if any of the i3 windows have any reduction on them at all from the factory, I mean I'm sure they have some UR/IR protection but are they really completely clear glass no light reduction at all?

I have read a few times now of people using magnets to hold it on using the holder somehow. I think it might have been on the i3 facebook page. Sorry I can't remember exactly where. It might sound silly but the magnets from an old hard drive are ridiculously strong and might do a good job.

Thanks for all the good info, I was able to use it to track down my i3 and as I feared it is NOT at the port in CA. In fact, to my great sadness my car is listed as "in production"... Now to have yet another uncomfortable conversation with the dealer. I swear, I have never had so much trouble...
