The online updates are only for the media/phone/bluetooth. The software referred to in this thread must be installed by a dealer.

The SOC is available in the app for me, too, when unplugged. The car seems to send an update to the BMW server when you shut down and leave it. It doesn't send an update until you get in the car again.

It appears to be a problem with other BMW models, too. I also have a 2014 335i and the same thing happens. The BMW genius at my dealership claims it's a Pandora API problem, but I've rented Fords and Chevys recently and album artwork and song info is updated just fine. Wish BMW would fix this...

Are these numbers actuals (you've run the battery down from a full charge and drove those miles) or based on the range meter? The range meter, otherwise known as the "guess-o-meter" or GOM, is often reported to be very inaccurate. Mine rarely shows more than ~65 miles at a full charge, even...

I'm having similar problems. Sometimes mine won't update for more than a day. During these update outages of sorts, if I try to go to BMW online in the car, it says it can't connect to the cellular network. Other people have experienced the same thing. Next step for me is to call the iConcierge...

Tom/all, I recently took my car in for the software patch/reload to get my a/c working again, but my car is only charging at around 5.5kW. Before now, it was charging at above 7kW. It seems they also did something to reduce my charging rate, even though my KLE was fine.

This is great news! For those of us in San Diego, we can now just pop over to Fashion Valley for a quick, free charge at any time. I guess depending on how much you use it, that $700 quick charge option can pay for itself before the end of 2015.

I've asked a couple times, and they answer was "no, but check back periodically." I haven't asked in a couple months and I get my car next week, so will call them again.
