I leased a 2021 last September and charge in the garage to 100%. I retired early so don’t drive a lot but love knowing I always have a “full tank”. I haven’t seen any degradation. I live in south Jersey and had a 199 mile range when I went out to the car earlier this week!

Elon Musk has said it will happen by the end of 2021. I’ve read the verbiage from the infrastructure bill and in order to get some of the cash, chargers have to be usable by all EV’s. It’s almost as if the wording is aimed directly at Tesla’s Superchargers. I’ve read there will probably be CCS...

I did a quick search and didn’t see any comments about Musk announcing all US Superchargers will be available to non-Tesla vehicles by the end of this year. Is that because y’all think it’s BS and not worth starting a thread or what?

As someone who’s had a new i3 BEV for just under a month, the only thing to be careful of are “side trips”. Not an issue for me but the wife is always thinking and will remember we need to stop here, then there, then backtrack a little.

Was public charging but percentage wasn’t going up very fast. I got out of the car and noticed the 150kWh Electrify America charger had dropped to the low 20’s kWh from starting mid 30’s and I was only around 20% charged. A few minutes later it dropped to 7kWh. I shut it down and restarted…same...

So…I went to an Electrify America charger before the charge got to low and OMG that was fast. Think I was high 30% charged and in 20 minutes or so I got just over 80%. By the time I went in the convenience store and got a sandwich there was only 6 minutes left to 80%…WOW. Maybe it’s just EA...
