    Windshield replacement

I managed to get hit by a rock, and it cracked the windshield, so I'm looking at replacement now. My service advisor quoted $1500-ish, and made some statement about how non-OEM glass would be cheaper, but BMW might not honor the warranty around leaks and things if they don't do the replacement...

Kids and back of the i3 front seat

I had the same issue. BMW fixed it, though they said they wouldn't next time. Took them a full day to do too.

    Basic Physics...

The bizarre part to me is that there's hysteresis. As in, I might be able to take a trip from A to B with no problems, but I can't take a trip from B to A because the REx won't be able to keep up with the last part. I still have range anxiety, but it's directional! I don't think I can explain...

    Occasional Use Cable

I'm doing that - it seems to work just fine. So far, ~600 miles in and I haven't used the REx yet, though I did once use a charger outside the home. I'm not aware of a reason not to do this, other than the obvious "it takes a long time to charge" issue.

Adaptive Cruise Control - any good?

It works reasonably well for me, but there are times it unexpectedly switches off (trees/shade or something). It wouldn't be an issue except the car then goes into full regen, surprising the person behind...

    Check Engine Light

Mine was fixed this week - apparently the software needs to be pushed from BMW NJ, which makes it a bit trickier with the time zone difference and such. They tried last week, but it took longer than they expected and I wanted the car back, so they tried again this week.

    Parking Brake Autorelease

It's actually one of my favorite features. My driveway is pretty steep, and I've always done the two pedal dance even with my other car that has hill hold. Autohold is awesome.

    UK Order v Delivery Dates

I think the US has some long lead times too. My original order (placed Feb 7th, on the list in early October 2013) has still not begun production (i.e., it's at least 8 weeks away from delivery), and I even had a 607xxx production number. Thankfully with cancellations I've been able to switch to...

    U.S. Production Numbers

Lucky :) I got on the list from BMW of Bellevue last October, order entered Feb 6th - BMWi concierge tells me the original date was week of March 23rd, and it's now more like May 15th or so.

    US delays?

My dealer's telling me early May as well, pushed back from the end of March, so that's consistent with your hypothesis.

    Range extender or Not?

Really? I would have thought the Rockies would be troublesome. I went BEV because I figured it would be completely impractical to drive long distances, even occasionally, and figured that whatever solution BMW ends up having for short-term gas vehicle usage in the US would be better on those...

    U.S. Production Numbers

Same here, on the list October 2013 at Bellevue, but my order went in the first week of Feb. My production # is 607066, and my rep told me April as well.

    US delays?

I heard from my dealer today that my order is delayed a couple of weeks - anyone else hearing that?

Wrong Color Displayed in "My BMW"

My dealer told me that it won't be updated until production, but that the order does in fact have the correct color.

Wrong Color Displayed in "My BMW"

I have exactly the same situation - I ordered Laurel Grey, and I see Andesite Silver. I'm assuming that it's an order update thing and it'll sort itselv out, since color and wheels are the only thing that can change.
