Maybe I'm the last to find out about this, but I just stumbled across this app and thought it was pretty neat (and useful):

They have versions for iPhone, iPad, Android. Beats thumbing through a paper manual, plus there are videos, FAQs and quick reference guides to various functions.

I downloaded it to my phone already. Search on BMW i Drivers Guide in the App Store (on your phone).
