centre cubby cover

you know, the one behind iDrive rotor - that exposes your stuff to evil folks...

I saw a 3D printed US cover, over engineered, over priced and over there

and made my own out of some scrap wood - 1cm thick and 21cm long

13cm wide on top and 12 wide underneath to make snug chamfer fit into the console

stuck a piece of black rubber to help prevent the wood cover from tilting and sliding into the cubby



then I covered its upper surface with carbon fibre style black sticky vinyl
looks ok I think and stops prying eyes

Looks good, I went for the over priced and over engineered one. The little hole in the middle is handy for charging your phone when on the move.
