I’ve had my 2015 i3 REX for about two years now, with no problem. A couple of weeks ago, the check engine light came on. My cheap code reader couldn’t identity any codes, so I cleared the light, but it popped back on a few days later. Ordered the Foxwell NT510, used the BMW setting, and got the following two codes:
222537 Internal charging electronics, component protection: Deactivation
222826 Charge management function: Check control message 885, charging with reduced output.
Googling all that has returned bupkis. Any insight here before I throw myself on the mercy of the nearest BMW dealer?
