Hi All,
I’d be grateful for any advice as my dashboard display seems to have gone nuts since the UK hour changed last Sunday morning. I now have a series of messages “Convertible roof not latching”
“Front collision sensor not operating” I don’t have one
“Transmission fault” Car drives fine
Plus some other random messages.
I don’t have any readouts for battery or Rex range and it’s swapped to KPH.
I’ve tried to download software from BMW onto a USB and can enter my VIN but then it comes up with Error - please try later.
I’m booked in with a specialist on Monday but would dearly love to sort this myself.
The BMW connected app seems to show my range as normal and it knows where the car is parked.
Full BMW service history - last in July 2023. 45k miles.
It’s a Dec 2015 Rex and has never given me any issues before.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Colin

Sounds like classic failing 12v battery. If you walk away from the car and come back 30 minutes later, is the hazard lamp in the center of the dash still on?

When I went back to the car (been left about an hour) and no red light so I disconnected the earth lead and the battery measured 12.99v. I’ve just put my CTEK charger on the restore mode and will see what happens.
