Anybody heard of a DLE on board? Service adviser just called and said they have to replace it (there are apparently two variations) and the part won't arrive for 3-5 days. First google searches came back in German, so ill take a closer look later? But wanted to see if anyone had heard of the component.

Sure they don’t mean the KLE?
Pretty sure. SA said they were checking on a part, being vague, and I asked specifically if it was the KLE. He said it wasn't, searched his email thread and came back with DLE.

Technically, yes. However, the actual power is sent to the electrical machine by the EME(Electical Machine Electronics). The EDME on the i3 is the master coordinator between drive input and vehicle response. Here are the main duties it performs:
• Evaluation of the driver's choice(accelerator pedal)
• Coordination of torque demands
• Activation of the electrical machine
• Activation of electric fan
• Activation of electric fan in the engine compartment
• Evaluation of the electronic gear selector switch(Shift-by-Wire function)
• Power management for the high-voltage electrical system
• Power management for the low-voltage electrical system
• Activating the electric vacuum pump.

do you know which one sends the torque request to the motor DME or EDME.
