Hi,
Just sharing, the local BMW service department traced the 'check engine light' to a problem with the EME. So they are still trying to test the REx by running the battery down but not having a whole lot of luck. I suspect they may also be training everyone about the BMW i3-REx using my car. <GRINS>
The sad thing is the car went in June 3d for a 'four-wheel alignment' and today is Tuesday, June 14. Hummmm. Good thing we still have our 2010 Prius or I'd be anxious.
I just called the service writer back and asked: (1) please reset any personalizations in the car so it is 'back to day zero', and; (2) reset the trip meter and run the car at 75 mph down to the Interstate and back and record the value. These will help me complete my mph vs mi/kWh graph.
