Glovebox won't close

Hi - not the worlds worst problem, but took delivery today of a lease i3 BEV and after opening the glovebox it wouldn't close. Hopefully the image below will show up but I took a picture of the catch where the lid hook goes in. I'd have to say that the whole glovebox lid seems a darn tight fit. Luckily my brother works for a BMW dealer that sells/services i cars so all should get sorted soon enough I hope. Now, let me go and find some lovely gaffer tape !

Anyone else come across this and managed to fix it themselves ?



Everything else looks to be in good shape so now time to get registered with connected drive, pair my phone etc....

I have a similar problem on my BEV - it closes but you have to slam it hard to close. The REX does close OK without much force. Was planing on having them look into it at the next service visit as it is not a big problem yet. Let us know if you find the reason and a fix.
