iphone: when I launch google app, car calls my phone

This strange behavior is driving me crazy. If my iphone is connected by bluetooth to my i3, and I launch the google app (the stand alone search app, not the map or the chrome browser), the car starts dialing my number. The call connects and stays connected for 30-45 secs.

No idea why this happens, but it only happens when the phone is connected to the i3.

Anyone else experiencing it? Or know how to stop it.

Related and also annoying -- the iphone starts to play something random from my Music app as soon as the i3 is connected. Would love to know how to stop this as I don't always want it and would prefer to be in charge of this.

What version of phone and IOS?

Is it Jailbroken or standard?

Yup, something similar happens with mine, iPhone 4S, it looks like I am calling myself and I can't hang up right away, very annoying. Haven't figured out the cause, maybe Waze, but I don't use the Google app, so it must be some other hiccup, possibly a glitchy initial handshake between car and phone.
