My i3 (UK company car)

Hi,

I have been progressing some quotes for the i3 on my company car scheme and finally settled on a spec and asked for my order to be placed. Interestingly, the REX with lodge interior was about £100 per month less expensive that non-Rex with standard interior (before income tax / benefit in kind tax effect), so I opted for that. It works out about £10/month more expensive after tax effects but still worth it.

2 year lease, maintained / insured etc.
Rex
Lodge interior
Andesit silver
429 alloys
Winter pack
HK hifi
LED headlights

Net cost of £380ish after tax savings and BiK with no deposit etc which seems good!

I've got my fingers crossed it all goes through without any problems now!

I am buying it for my company.
I have been advised by my accountant to get it as Hire purchase to get capital allowance and tax reliefs.

I notice you are leasing it ?
Have you discussed it with your accountant?

I work for a large company so I don't have any say in their decision to buy the car or lease it or what the benefits of each might be, I'm sure it will be leased. I'm an accountant though so I guess I'd consult myself
