Window Tint

First post in this forum. Got my i3 about two weeks ago. First mod I almost always do is window tint. I like some privacy. I got 50% in the front 20% in the back.

Next on my list is doing something about those terrible base speakers. I didn't get the HK because I'm usually not satisfied with those either. I am glad the the radio can play lossless files. Just need some nice speakers now.

Thank you for posting! I was at the tint shop the other day. Cost to do side and rear windows $360 which I thought was reasonable enough. I just wasn't sure what percentage!?!?

I also noticed you blacked out your side mirrors. Is that the carbon fiber mod? I was debating on the change. If I go that route, not sure if I should just purchase a CF cap to over existing housing, or replace the housing? My issue with replacing the housing, I believe it requires breaking the clips.

2015 models all have black side mirror housings, at least they do here in the UK.

What film, brand and kind did you go with?

I have a quote for sides (front/back) for $299 for Llumar ceramic.

I wanted to do the 3M Crystaline but they want $699 for that.

Anyone has experience with the Llumar ceramic?
