Those seem like some light-footed numbers. What would the numbers be not even trying?
Full AC, full comfort, 50/50 city highway passing slow pokes and not even trying to maximize mileage?
What was that like on the old i3 (no Rex)?
I know it's all dealer dependent, but is getting a 2017 (94Ah) BEV for invoice a realistic hope? When the 2015s/2016s first came out, were you able to get invoice?
Sorry but to me that just doesn't seem possible. There's nobody mounted to the front of the car screaming "THIS.IS.SPARTA." If i'm hitting something - I'm gonna hit it good, otherwise I'm not hitting it at all. Just be a good driver and don't hit things.
Ya with such a limited range and technology developing so rapidly I was afraid this would be the case. I went to autotrader and search for used 2014s. There are still a lot of new ones out there!!
The used ones were low-mid 20s, even for loaded/fairly low miles. Guess I'll be leasing! Thanks...
For those who have/had an i3 for a few years, what are you seeing for a trade-in value? I'm trying to figure out if it makes more sense to lease for a few years, or buy and trade-in later.
I was gonna suggest looking at Millworks. When I get my i3 that's who I plan on going with.
Let us know if it interferes with the park/distance sensors! It should be fine but I'm always curious.
Got it - makes sense. Wasn't sure what the i3's amperage charge rating was.
And if it's just 30amps - what about those 40amp chargers like the Juicebox? Does the car just draw the max current it can support regardless of the capability of the charge unit?
It looks like my time to finally get an i3 may be fast approaching. From the research I've done it seems like the Juicebox Pro 40 is a solid choice for a home charger.
I checked the company's website again and noticed they have a 75 amp charger now! Anybody have any experience with this? Any...
