The car itself will not report the battery is getting weak until an undervoltage condition has been recorded. It may not happen in a normal daily use, but if you leave the doors opened and the music on with the ignition off, it will happen.

ISID is the BMW diagnostic system. From what you say the condition of your battery appears to be marginal. And because these batteries fail suddenly, i would replace it if I were you.

I dropped the left side of the motor/eme assembly by removing the bolt of the motor mount. Then disconnect the HV battery from the front service disconnector and carefully remove the HV connector(s) on the top of the EME. The rest is T20 botls to remove the cover.

Go to newtis dot info, choose the i3 and then after some research you will find all documents and diagrams that are available to a BMW dealer.

Front grill is functional-BEV and REX have the low temp coolant system radiator there and the condenser for the AC. It is really small and the exiting air is ducted to exit under the car, so not much of a drag there. There are actually models with shutters on the lower grill.

It may feel so, but you will need a heavily modified van to out-corner the i3. Given the i3 is not a top performer, the g-loads feel very different in small and a large car.
