    Wood Dash Panels

If I recall correctly there are also some clamps for the glove box trim as well, but you are correct. It was a little touch-and-go removing the pieces due to the clamps being pretty tight. I had to use a screwdriver for leverage and scratched the surround back plastic up a bit in doing so...

I didn't see them replace it. Before I had BMW do the install I tried for a good long while to install the middle wood piece myself. The issue is that the plastic piece has some flex so I was able to take it out but the wood version is slightly thicker and without flex. This made it impossible...

DIY: Highbeam Headlamp Replacement / Upgrade

Yup, that's correct. I already had the LED option for the main lights. That one is much more complicated with lenses so not too sure about upgrading from a standard to LED. For the turn signals I found these through a Facebook discussion and purchased them through Amazon: iJDMTOY (2) Amber...

    2 i3s and 3 ASDA trucks

I feel your pain! Nothing more irritating than seeing a non-electric vehicle, often a very large vehicle, parked in an EV charge spot. Palm Springs, California is fantastic with providing multiple charge spots in their public parking structures. It was a Saturday night with lots of activity and...

All dealers can oder and install the part. You don't even need the car yet to do so. Parts department and i3 then they will look through a catalog to find the part #. I personally had it done at Newport Beach Sterling BMW.

That's a great idea AndyW. One could do some fun stuff with an application or wrap. Like those old. Nokia phones that you could replace the covers. It's Friday - I feel like leopard print lol

Can I Add Sirius-XM Radio Aftermarket?

I have the Mega World as well and had SiriusXM installed afterward. All i3's are preinstalled with the proper hardware and you just have to pay a couple hundred dollars for them to install software to activate it. Regarding the comment about if SiriusXM is worth it... I really enjoy it and...

Thank you. What your dealer told you is false. You can go to the parts department and they can look up the part number and order wood trim. No need to order extra brackets or anything like that. Good luck!

    Wood Dash Panels

Decided to upgrade the interior a bit with the wood panels. I have the lower end cloth package, which I'm very happy with, but the wood finish bumps it up a notch. Originally I was thinking of staining the wood a grayish color but decided to keep it as is. If anyone else is thinking of doing...
