I get what "messages" means. I'm just surprised that on a high tech car like this, you cannot receives texts (much less emails). My other BMWs all have this feature under "messages". I guess people don't care that much!

Went with Clipper Creek. Much easier to deal with than PowerCord who told me to hire an electrician, do a bunch of wiring etc. By the end, I think that would have cost more than the car! Clipper Creek was easy to deal with and had the plug configurations I needed. Thanks for everyone's help...
