2019 i3S BEV According to my finely calibrated butt dyno, Sport mode is faster than all of the other modes at WOT. So much so that I have a hard time driving around in Sport. It's simply too sensitive to throttle position - or maybe I just have a lead foot :).

Just got off the phone with BMW. I needed to reset my password (did that yesterday too), but this time only used alphanumeric, no special characters. That did the trick. Funny thing is, my password with the special characters worked fine on the website and I had been using it with my '15...

Not that anyone probably noticed I was gone :D After selling my '15 Rex at the start of the pandemic, I just took delivery of a '19 i3S BEV CPO with only 6900 miles. Comparing the '15 with the '19 S, I honestly can't tell a different is speed or "zippyness", but maybe my senses are tainted...

Great info by eNate. Another thing to make searching easier. If you want full leather, look for "Tera World" vehicles. For partial leather, "Giga World". Cars.com and Autotrader allow you to enter keywords in their advanced search. The CAV decals are easy to get and cost $20. Good Luck!

The fuel pump is indeed lubricated by the fuel flowing through it. However, it's cooled by the fuel it is submerged in. It's never good on a fuel pump to run without it being completely submerged. This can have a significant impact on reliability and pump life.

I'm really torn over this one. The issue for the providers is that they have 2 factors to consider. #1 of course is the energy, but #2 is also time. Is it fair to charge the same for, say 5kWh of energy if the equipment being used to supply this energy is tied up for 20 minutes vs 2 hours...

Just had the same done here in San Jose. Tech found the source of the rattle and added some felt. Covered under factory warranty on my 12/15 CPO. They also lubed a bushing at the bottom of the steering column that "groaned" on low speed turns. All quiet and wonderful now :)

^^^^^^^^ This. I was surprised to find my oil down at the min. Especially as I had only run 1 tank since buying the car as a CPO 3 months earlier.

Sorry to hear about your issues. However, that robot is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. The engineering behind it is awesome. Especially the way it lifts the back wheels to get under the car to the front wheels. Genius!

If the "old" technology is anything like what was used in my old E46 323i, then I'm not surprised. :lol: :lol: That car was the most unreliable thing I have ever owned. Fun to drive, when it ran....
