I can now answer my own question on this having changed them over this morning (15 mins a side). They prise up from the bottom as the upper part of the trim fits over a 'lip'. The blue trims look (IMO) much better on an Imperial Blue car - and at £40 each, while not cheap, they are not BMW...

I am looking to change the Grey sill trims in my i3 to Blue. These look as though they locate with 8 tabs along the bottom edge so I am assuming they need to be prised out along the top edge first with a trim removal tool and then they will pull out (upwards). Anybody done this? Am I assuming...

Just on that last point, where I live the temperature is generally in the 5-15 degree centigrade range. My understanding is that this is a good range for heat pump efficiency - not too cold and not too hot. Am I correct?
