So everyone understands it does not damage the health of a lithium battery to charge it to 100% on occasion. I would highly suspect that BMW has a regen level at some point...

This statement is not totally correct. On the 2019 120 I-3 it regens at full SOC without the use of brakes. According to the information I received, regen at full charge will still occur by adding charge to the batteries upper buffer on the battery for a period of time. Stay Safe- Mike
