The app worked fine for me, up until this afternoon. Now it won't update and none of the remote control functions work. I'm sure it's just a temporary thing... Jeff

No, it is definitely not just you. I'm closing in on 8 months for mine. It was supposed to be delivered to the dealer yesterday, but the dealer notified me on Friday that it was being held up at the VPC for the software update. Hopefully, I'll finally take delivery in the next couple weeks...

Isn't it irritating how people who are ordering their cars now are getting them pretty quickly (no offense to you lucky bastards). I ordered mine in January and it's supposed to be delivered to the dealer on Saturday. Almost 8 months... The delays really make you scratch your head sometimes.

My Solar Orange Tera went into production yesterday. Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't still delays based on the leather or color. I did order my car back in January, so that probably had something to do with it.

Just saw on the website that my car finally entered production today! After three production date shifts, I was about to call it quits and go with a Leaf or Volt. Super excited now!

Jeremy, My understanding from talking with a "Genius" at a recent driving event, is that you can't "overcharge" the battery. When the battery is charged to the optimal level, it will cut off the charge. In his words, "BMW has thought of everything, when it comes to the batteries." We'll see how...

My build date was moved up to April 18 as well. The thing that worries me now is that my sales guy told me that BMW may hold the April cars in port until the June run is complete and then release them all at the same time. Has anyone else heard this? I just want the freaking car already :D
