I used their USB coding to eliminate the legal disclaimer and change the startup animation on my M235i. Absolutely no complaints. I'm not sure what they offer for the i3, however.
The garage opener button on US cars is located on the bottom edge of the rear view mirror; there are actually three buttons in all and each can be programmed to execute a defined HomeLink function. See: http://www.homelink.com/home/welcome
BMW is experiencing complete outage of the BMW Connected app for iOS; it affects users with Version 4.1 on iOS. The app crashes immediately after opening. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling it will not fix the issue. I will provide updates as they become available.
At my center you can request a pre-inspection; if the tires are worn you can get replacement tires wherever you want prior to the final inspection. As long as the tires are BMW approved you will have no issues.
My car's status is stuck on December 1st; I can still it send departure/preconditioning times from my BMW Connected North America app as well as the ConnectedDrive web portal.
I'm able to set charging times, departure times, and preconditioning using the My BMW ConnectedDrive web site. Register your i3 and go to "eDrive Services"- then simply click on "Departure Times."
