    Is it possible to precondition with key fob? I'd like to warm up the i3 in the winter if I am sitting in a coffee shop and planning to leave. I know this can be done using the phone app, but can it be programmed into the key fob buttons?

    From my little experience, I also find that DC fast charging is a joke. Most of them don't work. Besides the cost of fast charging and using the REX is about the same. So why bother? Why wait, even 20 minutes, when you can just let the REX charge the battery? But definitely code the car so that...

    I just finished a 500 miles trip with my i3 REX without an emergency gas container. I would say unless if the gas stations are very far from each other (more than 30 miles or so) there really isn't any need for an emergency container. But I did have my car coded to allow "Hold State of Charge"...

    Is it possible to actually "raise" the state of charge? For example, if I am at 50% battery charge, could I somehow make the extender to keep charging the battery, say up to 75%?
