My air con has also failed and car booked in for 2nd September!
Car is a BEV with heat pump option 3000 miles up.
The fan speed has never changed even when on auto in comfort since the day I took delivery. Wondering if it is a software issue.
Hi,
i3 arrived today and I have my home charge point installed. Can anyone offer any advice on which network to sign up to. I live south of Oxford in the UK and I am signed up to Source London for commuting.
Thanks in advance.
My car is due in about an hour and I have never felt so flat about something like this. The way BMW have behaved makes me resent having paid for it. Right up to the day before yesterday when I got an email from customer services telling me my car was ready to collect on Friday after my lease...
There is just no pressure on the dealer if using a lease company (like I am).
I was informed that delivery was delayed by a month to the 29th May with the car confirmed built on 24th April. I contacted the lease company and told them over a month from build to delivery is just not acceptable...
Plug are you happy with the Arravani? I have one on order being delivered next week and having a bit of wobble on the colour - thinking I should have gone for the metallic
I have just been told my car is in transit so no information is available - really this is the 21st Century I now have an estimated 15th May delivery. We will see.
Just had confirmation that my car has been built (ordered 17th December 2013) and will be in the UK late May (not sure why they cant give me a date) and will b ready for delivery 7-10 days after that!
Can't wait.

I got an email this morning....
'Delays at the factory' - new delivery date 4 July 2014
m11wlk: this does not bode well for my 5th May delivery date -- have chased the Lease Company today to check. It is a pain in the @rse working through a lease company and not getting updates...
I ordered a BEV on 12th December and have a delivery date of 5th May. It is through a lease company so the dates may not be accurate (given delivery to me at home is planned on a Bank Holiday I guess it is at least a day out).
It is confusing but all you need to know is:
1. DC rapid charge (30 min charge time) is a UK option at £500 update to the car. You cannot have this charge station installed at home (and there are very few of them in UK at the moment compatible with i3);
2. Standard charge with cable provided...
If you are (like me) waiting on the delivery of your car and are hunting all things i3 on the net then you may want to scratch that geek itch and watch the full (and I mean FULL) production of an i3 from start to rolling off the line.
