Suggestion: I just pried out the little trunk light, pulled the fuse and wired in an additional lead, feeding an LED array fixed to the bottom of the cover lid. Fished the extra lead out beside the panel forward of the light. There's a disconnect on there for when I need it wide open for cargo...
