108k miles on 2016 rex, replaced electric motor last year (bearings). Hope it lasts a few more years the resale value is fading off into the sunset.

Have 2016 rex. I had motor making grinding noise just out of warranty. Drivetrain malfunction died like a spawning salmon. Dealer said motor bearing gone $4500 labour plus $9000 (cad$) new motor quoted. Got a salvaged 2018 motor for $2400 and $2400 to install. Works great.

I had a chargepoint model was good because you could control amperage via app. Moved into a house with a tesla charger and can only control amps with breaker 👎

Chargepoint home charger works fine with tesla but is charging with reduced power in 2016 i3. Research indicates kle (?) or onboard charger (inverter) is failing and only 50% functioning. Anyone replace this part or have this experience? Thanks.
