What does your "miles to empty" show when full?

Your GPS being on with a destination will also affect what your range displays. I have the low range i3 and i've seen it as low as 60's and as high as 110miles.

    Connected Drive not working

I think it's actually fuse #115. I updated my IOS today and miraculously, my BMW Connected app now shows the range that it used to not display at all. If you have an iphone, see if you have an update. It worked for me. Hopefully, it works for you too.

    No charge

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Your 12v battery is not charged enough to start the car. Here's my demo video of how to change out your 12v battery to a new one. It's for people who don't really work on cars. Hope it helps you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qjZsfoE6wc&t=21s If...

BMW Connected App doesn't even show range!

Thank you both of you for taking time to respond! Much appreciated. Sounds easy enough. Just after reading your post and as I was on my way heading downstairs to the garage, I checked my phone one last time after having checked it a zillion times before over the course of the past several months...

BMW Connected App doesn't even show range!

Hoping someone might be able to help. I cannot view even the range of the car. The BMW Connected app shows everything in the Remote Section like normal except the entire line showing range for both the REX and Electricity is completely gone. I had lost the ability to use Climate Control, but...

HELP: just replaced the 12v battery but can't start my i3

For what it's worth, here's my experience. While waiting for my new Deka battery to come in, I removed the discharged original battery and charged it outside the car using a Schumacher 2A charger/maintainer. It took awhile to fully charge, but it did. The idea was to do this and pop it back...

    Dead Battery and other problems

Correct, it was well over $230 at one point, so I bought from Ebay for $177. Then the next day, I checked Remy again and it was down to $139.

Part 1 There are already videos out there on how to replace the 12v auxiliary battery from the BMW i3, but I wanted to include some important details on exactly how to do it, especially for newbies who aren't used to working on their cars. Don't be overwhelmed. It's doable and my video starts...

    Dead Battery and other problems

I love the way you posted this info! Awesome format gets to the point. Thorough and concise. Wanted to add some info too that some may find useful. I just got off the phone with BMW of Concord, CA and they quoted me some outrageous prices: 12v 20ah battery: $235 + tax and requires a trade-in...

Replaced my 12v battery, now showing "drive-train" fault detected

Thanks. Does "Deactivate High Voltage" mean unplug the orange plug?

Someone towed my BMW i3, it wasn't towed on a flatbed, EDME module failed

I felt your frustration as I read that post. I'm in CA too. The unfortunate situation is that the American way is to pay even though it's not your fault just to get out of having to pay more. There's no logic or fairness in any of this. Granted you parked illegally, it still doesn't mean that...
