I was just given a new build date. It was the last week in March; now it's four weeks later.

Between the Launch Package and the unavailability of California HOV stickers for the REx, I'm thinking about placing an order for the car I want and waiting a little longer. Besides saving the $2500 for options I don't want, is it too early to score a discount off MSRP?

As of Sept. 16, new car dealers have been able to order the stickers from DMV with the VINs, so they can deliver the sticker at the time of purchase. This coincides pretty well with the increase in the rate of sticker issue. Might not explain it all, but it could be a factor.

So you would have been able to delete the DC charger if you wanted? And other options?

CARB's bimonthly update: "As of February 28, 2014, 33,637 "green" stickers have been issued." The last two months they went at a slightly faster rate than the previous two. At this rate they should run out on May 15. (December projection was May 19.) The i3 REx is still not on the green...

Congrats, iczer! So this is the launch package, fully loaded, except Giga instead of Tera, right? For me, even if I could get Giga, it still doesn't ring my chimes. DC fast charger is useless, especially with REx aka "gas station even faster charger". :) And I don't need premium sound either.

Can anyone who has their i3 comment on how it handles in a stiff crosswind? We had a gusty storm here today, so I an wondering whether the i3's light weight affects its handling in such conditions.
