I did say service bay -- my bad. Of course it's not going to work without southern sky exposure in Nor Cal. The dealership replaced the radio head unit and all is OK now. Apparently a Sirius radio manufacturing glitch. That is all. :)

My 'other' car is an Acura MDX and I subjectively have to say it's quieter than my REX at moderate freeway speed. How about more foam insulation to reduce wind noise. Seems like sound proofing in the roof might help. Anyone else feel the same??

My SAT radio does not work when the radio is switched between FM and SAT radio. Upon startup of the i3, it's a crap shoot if the SAT radio works. Switching the radio between SAT and FM can cause the SAT to go dead. I rarely drive in Ecopro + mode. I'd say the issue surfaces 50% of the time...

So when Rex is running on flat ground for 30 miles is it not generating a bit of extra battery recharge? I think those of you familiar with the grade up to El Dorado Hills would not expect the car to limp. Obviously, it did -- just not what a casual freeway driver would expect, for sure...
