Dear Chris, that sounds preposterous to me. You have to deal with limited range already. But not driving the car I like to use as a first car, because there might be ligthning at the end of a warm summer day, isn't what a lot of people are inclined to think of.

Just wondering whether their I service might be totally different, due to a lack of training, interest, ignorance or whatever. Thanks!

Hi Lolotte, Don't know where you got that info from, but I can assure you that the Rex will be offered by BMW. What do you think: You buy the car, drive somewhere and have the ICE built in by an external company? It will just be an option to pick, like leather seats in a conventional BMW...

After my testride in the active e, I'll be invited for the testdrives once they arrive at the dealer. BMW HQ NL is hyping the I3, which is great. Too bad, the lease on my current BMW still runs for four more years. But in 2017...:-)

Hi Parker, being Dutch, I can confirm that your translation is right. @Tom: I can imagine bmw cannot deliver more than 500 I3's in 2 months time. Of course they want to sell as many as possible, but 500 for NL is already quite something for such a small car market in 2 months.
