You mean the entire screen goes blank? If the screen is going blank it sounds like a head unit problem. If it was a loose connection on the antenna would would get "aquiring" like you do if you park inside a garage and the car can't get sat reception.

Was the check engine light on or is the only indication you are getting is from the Chargers. It sounds like a KLE issue but there are other things that can prevent charging. I am curious of the outcome. Please keep us updated.

The programming of the vehicle basically resets the car to factory settings. To be honest I was impressed that the preset radio stations were still there.

Jim is completely correct with the priority. As of right now KLE's are widely available and coming next day. I like to take the car apart at night and install the new KLE as soon as it comes in. I have removal of the KLE down to 30 minutes.
