Very well said. I agree with all your points. The i3 and i8 were tester cars for BMW to dip their toes in the mass EV market. I think it has been a big success, at least for the i3. Like you said, it's the perfect daily commuter for me, and my lifestyle.

I have experienced similar behaviour when slowing down and hitting a bump on the road. The regen. braking "disconnects" and the car let loose for a second. It's a very scary experience. Heard from others, this is normal behaviour.

I believe what you suggested is already available. I set the turn signals one way, and am able to cancel it with either direction (same or opposite).

I also notice this when your car is coming to a stop and u press on the brake pedal. It's most apparent when you are nearing the drive-thru window with your car windows rolled down. :D Perhaps it's the brakes making adjustments? Either way, I find it really cool, and assume it's normal...

There may be some truth to this as I heard the i3 and i8 are only experimental cars. BMW is looking to electrify all of their "regular" cars down the road with the i cars being used to dip their toes in the water first.
