I have a EVSE with a delayed start option. My "cheap" electric rate is from 11pm to 5am. I set the delay to come on after 11pm. I think it charges for 2-3 hours depending on SOC.
I have the car set for "charge immediately". I also have Level 1 and Level 2 set at maximum.
