2017 REX - Check Engine Light still an issue?

I'm into my second month with the i3 and took my first road trip this weekend. During the trip, the "Check Engine" light came on, I believe when I first hit the REX. It's my first time actually "using" the REX (it did a maintenance cycle when I drove it home from the dealer), and the light...

BMW i3 - Why did you get one, OR Why do you want one?

We've got 3 young kids (7, 4, and 1) and a minivan as the primary family car, so an efficient "runabout" made sense as my primary vehicle. I commute about 40 mi round trip, or to the airport, both of which have L2 chargers. I also frequently drive one or both of the older kids to their events so...

    Fuel vent recall?

Wow. I almost missed getting my i3 as I picked it up 2 weeks ago. Recall is a bummer but it would be even worse not to have the car!

Any problem with hitting "stop" without hitting "Park?"

Thanks for the tips. Good stuff and glad I'm not "breaking" anything with the one button shutdown. Tesla may have their no-button start, but I guess we even things out with them on our no-park stop.

    Podcasts

I'm a fairly heavy podcast listener (check out Hardcore History if you're a history geek or just like a good story), but can't seem to readily access podcasts on my phone via iDrive. I have an iPhone 6S with iOS 10.x which has the Connected Drive app installed. When I plug in via USB I can see...

Any problem with hitting "stop" without hitting "Park?"

I'm a new 2017 i3 REX owner (at least for the term of my 2 year lease), and recently discovered if you hit Start/Stop without first hitting "P," the car seems to automagically activate the Park function before shutting down. Is there any problem with skipping the Park button? It's not the end...
