Have the same size of wheels and tires and I find the ride firm but without harshness. Maybe your problem is related to the age of your car's suspension components. Also, what are your tire pressures?

I have a similar problem. A shop did the tire mounting and alignment, but no luck. My tires have always been properly inflated.
