There are important data missing: What speed are you driving at? What mode, Comfort, EcoPro? Do you precondition the car? The reason that your car dropped speed is that the battery level was too low to support the rex. The rex itself cannot supply enough power to drive the engine at full speed...

Its no coincidence that many i3s started at the same time with this issue, so its most likely that is was a bad update from BMW

Achieved this spring, 186 kms before the Rex turned on. The rex turns on when the SOC is less than 7%. That means that I could achieve 200kms without rex.
