California Used i3 Prices Coming Down Soon? HOV Lanes / New Rules 2019

A bit late to this party - but can confirm; just got my sticker in the mail; for a 2015 car. You can call the DMV and check if a particular car you’re interested in ever had a sticker issued; all they need is the vin (which is typically listed in the “for sale” ad).

Trip meter / odometer mile change discrepancy.

 At the last even thousand, I reset the trip meter. On my commute today noticed something very peculiar: trip meter seems to be counting off miles consistently, but odometer is super inconsistent from one mile to the next (although self correcting, matches trip meter within a mile at...

There were three of us on my morning commute!

I usually see one, sometimes two other i3s on my morning commute. This time I saw three - two of them at the same time!

    2019 i3

Wow, double the battery capacity compared to the first iteration. Sounds good to me :-). Maybe when I pay off my "brand-new" 2015 model I'll be able to trade it in for a lease return of 2019/20 model :D

[HELP] 10K difference on comparable CPO i3s from same dealer

Yeah, definitely seems like a typo. Sanity check: 2015 i3 Giga, 26k miles, CPO for $20k - decent deal? Also - hi!

@PBNB Right, as Art correctly clarified "coding" is just changing settings which are not exposed via the iDrive UI. I got the OBD reader recommended on their site (with a promo code it was $24, so with the app the required gear only cost $50). Just following instructions on their site works...

Sanity check: 2015 i3 Giga, 26k miles, CPO for $20k - decent deal? Also - hi!

Thanks for the responses! Yeah, I searched around quite a bit, and the comparable ones elsewhere were all more expensive. Pretty sure second half of december might be a better time for amazing deals - but that's still a few months away - so went ahead and got it :-). Also ordered a...

Sanity check: 2015 i3 Giga, 26k miles, CPO for $20k - decent deal? Also - hi!

Hi i3 community! With a change in job situation increasing my commute from 0 to 80 miles per day we decided to look at EV options. Lease returns driving the prices down plus love for BMW in general makes i3 an obvious choice :D Want to say hi and share my excitement. So my wish list was like...
